February is our shortest month but for some reason it always feels like the longest to me. Maybe that's because we live in Chicago and typically February isn't ideal from a weather standpoint but this year hasn't been so bad. In fact is has been warm enough to get a few good days of playing outside and the water in the river is already thawed so I may have my rowers out on the water in the next week or two. Woohoo!
Anyway, this month we had a visitor from Zach's school join us for a weekend. Buzzy the bee was quite the houseguest. We also had some fun days playing outside and as most of you probably know, we took a super quick trip to NC to visit Nana and Boppa and give Rich a chance to interview. Rich's work contract ended last week so he is looking for a new job. Let us know if you have any good ideas or leads! Until then.......we are just going to have as much fun with the boys as we can and try to figure out our next steps.

And lastly, we had enough wind this weekend to fly a kite. It was a first for Zach!
We are supposed to get 1-3" of snow tonight. Fingers crossed that spring is right around the corner!
