So Big! - 9 months

Zach is 9 months old today!  He seems so big.  9 months just seems like more of a milestone to me than 6 months did.  I don't know why.  He has his 9 month check up in a couple of weeks so I tried to weigh him with our bathroom scale and he is coming in at 24 lbs.  Sounds big but I actually thought it would be more. 

Ball of Laughter

This $5 ball was one of the best purchases I've made recently.  Zach loves it!  This video is a little dark but I think you can still see and hear him pretty well.

Paper is so much fun!

These aren't Oscar worthy films but they are at least entertaining.  I took a few videos of Zach playing last week and thought I would share them so you can see this steamrolling, scooting, paper playing, ball of laughter in action.

Rock On

I've often wondered what it would be like to be one of Zach's daycare "teachers" and while the idea of spending my days with Zach is awesome, I realize I don't have the patience for all the other children.  Messy eaters.  Poopy diapers.  Meal time clean up.    NO THANKS!  The women (and probably a few men) out there that do this each and every day for several children are saints.  If you are included in this group.....THANK YOU!

We actually love the women that spend time with Zach each day.  They all seem to really really enjoy him (who wouldn't?) and he beams, giggles, and squirms with excitement at the site of them.  Eventually I hope to post a picture of his class but for now this picture will suffice in showing just how much fun Zach and his ladies have together. 

I picked Zach up from daycare one afternoon this week and he looked like this.  What a stud!  Rock on!  I think he is ready for his first concert.  Even better.....his shirt says "Girls dig me"...........so true.

Target!

I thought the title of this post was fitting because I think Zach loves going to Target as much as his mom does!

Lately, the fun just keeps coming.  Zach is at a really fun age and smiles and giggles quite a bit each day.  Here are a few photos I've taken this week.  And yes....his thighs are just a chunky as they look! 

Anyone want to come visit us in Chicago?!  We have a guest room just waiting for some visitors and we'd love to see you!
