10 months and counting.....

My little brown eyed boy is 10 months old today!  I can hardly believe it really.  It seems like it was just a week ago that I was trying to figure out what to do with a potty training toddler and a wee little baby in the heat of the summer.  Now Gunnar is on the move!  He has a decent army crawl down but is really more interested in walking rather than perfecting the crawl.  He constantly wants to stand and walk but hasn't figured out that leaning backwards and moving his feet forward isn't exactly the best method.  Gunnar really just wants to be able to run around with Zach.  It frustrates him to see us get up and move so easily sometimes.

Oh, and Gunnar has 1 tooth!  He cut this tooth roughly 2-3 weeks ago but now it is a full tooth sitting there every time he smiles.  I wish you could see it in the photos.  I'm sure this isn't that exciting to you but as Rich can tell you, I'm horrible with putting anything into the boys' baby books so I've got to keep a record of these things somewhere.  Someday maybe I'll actually go back and write them down.

My blue eyed boy is growing too fast!  Here is a shot of him and Rich after lunch at our favorite place for corndogs.  Yay Herms!

The boys and I will be in the southeast in a couple of weeks and would love to see those of you that live in the area!!

First Haircut and Some Outdoor Fun

Well, I was hoping to make it to the year mark before getting Gunnar's first haircut however I just couldn't wait any longer.  The boy was getting shaggy!  We tried to get in at the kids place where he could sit in a cool car and watch a movie but they were booked so we ended up just having him sit on my lap at the place we typically take Zach.  In fact, all three of the boys got a haircut although we didn't take any picture of Rich in the process.  :) 

Here is the after shot but my computer has mysteriously hidden the photos we took of the process.  Ugh!  Technology sucks sometimes.  When I find them....I'll post them.

Zach spent some time outside this weekend.  The weather has kept us indoors for so long that when the sun came out and the temps were in the 20s the boy couldn't get enough.  And yes....we got more snow this weekend.

Gunnar stayed in with me but it didn't stop him from getting into some trouble of his own.  He is on the move now (scooting and trying to crawl) and getting into everything.   Waffles anyone?

And this was a few weeks ago but I had to take a photo of my attempt at making Zach some of the infamous teddy bear pancakes that my mom makes.  Not too bad for my first try!  Andi and Molly....do you remember these?
