4 Months!

Well, Zach will be 4 months old tomorrow but since we will be traveling I thought I'd go ahead and post his photo.  We are amazed at how big he is now!

Fun Fun Fun!

Zach it getting more interactive everyday and it is so much fun to watch.  In the past week he's had several story times with Nana, a nap on Grandpa Jim (don't worry....his neck isn't actually broken) and some fun playtime on the activity mat.  I think I actually had him laughing in the last photo.

Zoom Zoom

Over the past week we've been busy!  We've run errands, visited friends and their newest addition to the family,  and picked up a new ride for Zach at a children's clothing and toy sale.  Zach and Nana have been getting a lot of playtime during the day as well.  Busy busy busy!

Here is Zach with his new wheels!  Zoom!  Zoom!  We can't wait to see him play with his little car once he can really do it on his own but he looks pretty happy to play with a helping hand.

The Magic of Helium

My mom is visiting/helping us for two weeks so she spends her days playing with and taking care of Zach while Rich and I work.  Today I came home to a smiling, kicking, and cooing little boy.  Nana was clever enough to entertain him with some helium balloons while changing his diaper.  Turns out that Zach really enjoys tugging on the ribbons and making the balloons bounce around.  He entertained himself for almost an hour!

Cereal

We aren't culinary divas in this house but we realize that just eating milk all the time could get a bit boring to Zach and he is old enough now to start expanding his vocabulary of food.  So....rice cereal here we come!  Ok, that sounds fairly boring too but we've got to start somewhere.  Our first attempt didn't go over too well with Zach.

I think we will give him a break and try again in a few days.   Here's to a gourmet menu!
